About the app
Bach Flowers: Reminder (Flores de Bach in Spanish) spreads your doses between the first one of the day and your bedtime, reminds you when the next one is due and keeps a log. It works on iPhone and Android, with no accounts. It does not tell you which remedies to take or how much, and it does not replace a visit to a health professional.
Frequently asked questions
I'm not getting reminders. What should I check?
On iPhone, open the Settings app, go to Notifications, choose Flores de Bach (Bach Flowers) and turn on Allow Notifications. If they are off, the Settings tab inside the app says so too and has an Open settings button that takes you there. On Android, besides notifications, the app needs the Alarms & reminders permission to remind you at the exact time, and it helps to choose Don't optimize for the app in the battery settings.
How does the app set the dose times?
Each morning you log your first dose and the app spreads the rest between that moment and your bedtime, which you set in Settings. If you take the first one at 7:45 am and go to sleep at 10:00 pm, four doses a day fall at 7:45 am, 12:30 pm, 5:15 pm and 10:00 pm. Every time you log a dose, the remaining ones are adjusted.
I logged a dose by mistake.
Right after logging it you have five seconds to tap Undo. Later, you can change its time or delete it from the dose options.
How do I move my data to another phone?
In Settings, under Data, tap Export data and save or send the file. On the new phone, tap Import data and choose that file. Importing replaces everything in the app. The file is not encrypted, so keep it somewhere safe.
Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?
Only on your phone. There are no accounts and no server of ours receiving it, so we cannot see it or recover it. To delete it, uninstall the app. If you want to keep it, export it first.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Reminders and logging work without a connection.
What language is it in?
Spanish if your phone's main language is Spanish, and English otherwise. There is no language switch inside the app.
Does it show ads?
Not on iPhone. The Android version shows a Google AdMob banner. The details are in the privacy policy.
Does it tell me which remedies to take or how many drops?
No. The app only organizes times and keeps a log. The drops it records depend on the bottle type you choose: 4 per dose with Treatment and 2 with Stock. What to take and how much is a question for a health professional.
